Dr. Brad Coker, Head Director

Family: Married to Kristen, dog owner to Fritz - Mini-Schnauzer

Interesting Facts: Dr. Coker loves scones, coffee, and gooseberry pie. He received two write-in votes in the 2008 U.S. Presidential Election!

JoeLee Mills, Assistant Director

Teaching Duties: ENHS - Assistant Director of bands, woodwind specialist; Cheyenne MS - 8th Grade Band Director, 7th Grade Woodwinds, 6th Grade Woodwinds

Education: University of Oklahoma - Bachelor of Music Education (Flute); Master of Music Education (National Board Certification)

Began Teaching: July 1999

Family: Married to Charlie, mother to Benjamin; pet owner to Maisey the dachshund, Gracie the boxer/American bulldog mix, and Sox the cat.

Interesting Facts: Mrs. Mills enjoys reading and creating paper crafts. While growing up in Arizona, Mrs. Mills performed in the Super Bowl XXX halftime show in a choir with Diana Ross. Even though her primary instrument is the flute, she played the mellophone during her senior year of marching band!

Best Part of Your Job: "I enjoy working with students and helping them become the best version of themselves!” My band family is where I grew up feeling safe and connected to others. I strive to create this same environment with my students and co-workers everyday.


Ben Conrady, Percussion Director

Teaching Duties: ENHS - Percussion Ensemble; Sequoyah MS- 8th Grade Band, 7th Grade Brass & Percussion, 6th Grade Percussion & Trumpet

Education: University of Oklahoma - Bachelor of Music Education (Percussion); Master of Music Education (Conducting)

Began Teaching: August 2006

Family: Married to Miriam; father to daughter, Kirby

Interesting Facts: Being a native Oklahoman, Mr. Conrady loves all things local - music, restaurants, and shops. He is also a doughnut connoisseur and will gladly recommend his favorite local establishments. Mr. Conrady serves as the Director of Modern Worship at his church, Quail Springs UMC in OKC.

Best Part of Your Job: "Each day, I have the opportunity to help my students understand that so much of what we do in band applies to life after band. When we bring our best efforts, we listen to each other to understand each other, and recognize that what is best for the group is not always what is best for the individual, we will make beautiful music together AND be successful in life.”


Erin Epperly-Reiswig, Assistant Director

Teaching Duties: ENHS - Symphonic Band; Cheyenne MS- Assist with 8th Grade Band, 7th Grade Brass & Percussion, 6th Grade Trumpet & Percussion

Education: Oklahoma City University - Bachelor of Instrumental Music Education (Percussion)

Began Teaching: July 2018

Family: Partner, Jonathan; cat owner to Shatki, Artemis, Athena, and Selene; dog owner to Freya

Interesting Facts: Ms. Epperly has flown to Washington D.C. to lobby for funding for music education. She loves to read, paint, cook, and play video games. She has competed in an international marimba competition, and can clap with one hand!

Best Part of Your Job: “The best part of being a band director is being part of a family. Band creates a unique opportunity for students to be invested over many years in a group of people who know what it means to work hard and to take care of each other. I value those relationships and that environment greatly, and it makes my life incredibly fulfilling and rewarding.”


Michael Holleyman, Assistant Director

Teaching Duties: ENHS - Concert Band, Sequoyah MS - Assist 8th Grade Band, 7th Grade Woodwinds, 6th Grade Flute & Clarinet

Education: Oklahoma City University - Bachelor of Instrumental Music Education (Oboe)
